Privacy Policy
Last updated August 4, 2026
This policy explains what BioSense collects on this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you ask us to delete it. It covers the website — biosense.me — and not the app or the clinical platform, which will have their own.
Today the site collects in one place only — a form that comes in two versions: the patient spot reservation and the healthcare professional contact. The fields are the same; each purpose is spelled out below. There is no other collection.
Who is responsible for your data
BioSense is the controller of the data collected on this website: we decide what is collected and why.
For anything related to your data, including a deletion request, write to contato@biosense.me. That is our channel for reaching us, and a person reads it.
What we collect
When you fill out the form, we store exactly five things: the name you typed, your email address, whether you came in through the patient page or the healthcare professional one, the language of the page you signed up on, and which page of the site you came from. We also store the date and time you checked the authorization box.
Nothing beyond that. We don't ask for a phone number, an address, an ID number, or any health information — the form has no field for it.
What we don't collect
This site uses no cookies, has no audience analytics, and loads no third-party scripts. There is no social media pixel, no heat mapping, and no cross-site tracking. Browsing here without filling out the form leaves no personal data with us.
Your IP address is used at the moment you submit, to limit repeated attempts and hold off bots, and it is not written to the database.
Why we collect it, and on what basis
We'll use your name and email only to let you know when the app launches and to send your Pioneer invitation. No recurring marketing, no sharing with third parties, and your data stays on our servers. You can request deletion at any time at contato@biosense.me.
We'll use your name and email only to get in touch and talk about BioSense. No recurring marketing, no sharing with third parties, and your data stays on our servers. You can request deletion at any time at contato@biosense.me.
To be plain about what that means: you will hear from us by email, because that is exactly what this list is for. What won't happen is your address becoming a target for campaigns, newsletters, or recurring promotions. We also don't build behavioral profiles and don't combine this data with any other database.
The legal basis is your consent (LGPD, article 7, item I), given when you check the authorization box — which is never pre-checked. Without it, the form does not submit.
Who we share it with
No one. We don't sell, trade, or hand your data to third parties for their own use — not to partners, not to advertisers, not to ad platforms.
Your data sits on our infrastructure, and that infrastructure is run by two vendors: Vercel, which hosts the site, and DigitalOcean, which hosts the database. They are processors, not recipients: they hold what is ours, on our instructions, and cannot use the data for anything of their own. If we ever use an email delivery service to send the launch announcement, it enters on those same terms, and this page is updated before the first message goes out.
Where the data lives
The database holding the reservations runs on servers in the United States, in the San Francisco region. That means your data crosses an international border, and you are being told so here, as Brazil's LGPD requires.
The connection between the site and the database is encrypted, and the reservations database is separate from the clinical platform's database: the public form has no access whatsoever to patient health data.
How long we keep it
We keep your reservation until the app launches and for up to 12 months after that, so we can answer questions about your spot. After that period — or sooner, if you ask — the record is deleted.
If you request deletion, we delete the whole record — name, email, and the rest — and keep no copy for any other purpose.
Your rights, and how to exercise them
Brazil's LGPD guarantees that you can confirm whether we process your data, access it, correct anything wrong, request that it be anonymized or deleted, learn who it was shared with, and withdraw your consent at any time.
For any of these requests, write to contato@biosense.me from the address you signed up with. You don't need to justify the request, and withdrawing consent costs nothing and carries no consequence: it means leaving the list.
We respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the change affects what we collect or why, we email everyone on the list before it takes effect.
